In this section, I hope to share some interest things that I have experienced with cresteds from health issues to coat changes and anything in between!

This is a picture of a pure bred powder puff crested at 5 months old. His name is Tigger. As you can see, he has a close, short undercoat with long, thin wiry overcoat/veil. This is similar to the "old fashion" puff coats of years past. I thought that his coat would stay this way so I had him spayed at this age.

Well, by the time Tigger was 2 years old he had the most beautiful, easy to care for puff coat that never tangles! These are pictures of him at an older age. Moral of the story....don't give up on your puffs at too early of an age!!
